Privacy Statement

BroodStack has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses how we may process and protect your personally identifiable information or personal data ("Personal Information"):

For a description of the rights of consumers under various state privacy laws, and our handling of Personal Information of residents of those states, please see the section titled "Consumer Privacy Rights for Residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, Utah or Connecticut" below.

Collecting and Processing Your Personal Information

The Personal Information that we collect depends on the nature of the relationship we have with you, the data subject. Below are some of the ways we may collect and use Personal Information and our legal or business purposes for doing so.

Employees and Contractors

We collect standard employment-related Personal Information regarding our workforce, for various business purposes such as processing payroll, providing human resources services, administering our business (including managing our employees and contractors, communicating with clients, and providing our services) and to fulfill our legal and reporting obligations. The types of Personal Information we collect about our employees and contractors may include: title; name; address; phone number; email address; professional affiliation; employment and education information; username and answer to a security question or password; government identification; banking and financial information; citizenship; health data; precise geolocation through devices used for work; military or veteran status; and on rare occasions the contents of mail, email or texts. We will only collect employee or contractor information related to: race or ethnicity; sexuality or sexual orientation; health; and military or veteran status for the purposes of complying with our legal obligations, and for some clients that request Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) statistics. Occasionally we may collect sensory data from our employees and contractors in order to conduct video interviews.

Applicants and Resumes

You have the option of submitting your resume to BroodStack, which may include Personal Information such as your employment, education, and contact information. When you send your resume to BroodStack, your resume is entered into the BroodStack resume database and will be assigned to a BroodStack recruiter who may contact you as relevant employment opportunities arise. A recruiter will always speak to you about an opportunity before submitting your resume and will not submit a resume to a client without your prior consent. BroodStack uses its best efforts to grant access to your resume only to such third-party clients for whom you have given your consent. However, BroodStack is not responsible or liable if some other third party evades security measures and gains access to the resume database, and, subsequently, your resume. BroodStack’s clients, to whom your resume has been sent with your consent, may have retained a copy of your resume in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of resumes in such instances.

Our Clients

We collect Personal Information regarding our clients or client-representatives for various business purposes such as providing our products and services, managing client information, managing our employees and contractors, marketing and advertising, and complying with our legal obligations. The Personal Information we collect regarding our clients may include: title; name; address; phone number; email address; and professional affiliation.
